The Issues
Curtis L. Thompson II wants to use his technical background, forward thinking and his progressive experience in municipal government to get people back to work and better affect innovative change in Ward 11.

- We want to partner with local housing experts to find effective ways to keep people in their homes when faced with foreclosure and we want to find ways to sell foreclosed homes.
- I want to take a serious look at legislation that provides alternatives to incarceration for children under the age of 18 and that focuses on taking a tougher stance on crime so that we can provide clean and safe neighborhoods for our community's children.
- We need to revitalize the business community by taking full advantage of all development opportunities.
- Integration of technology in community programs so that our residents are better prepared for the jobs of the future.
- Promotion of sustainability measures to help preserve the assets of Ward 11 and its citizens.
The people of Ward 11 will not accept minimal effort in pushing for change. That's why we want to get the people of his ward back to work. In getting the people of Collinwood back to work we want to create “Green Up" and "Tech Up" programs that transform blight into beauty and re-instills the pride of ownership in our community and its small businesses.
