This blog is set-up to keep my supporters informed of the occurences that happen on the campaign trail leading to Election Day Tuesday November 3rd, 2009. Below are my Blog Entries.

Lead by Example
After reading both blogs (this and the PD's) I am concerned that the current councilman has been acting on his feelings rather than what is in the best interest of the Collinwood community. If the councilman is unable to effectively research and/or like my mother has always said, think before you speak, then I can’t help but to wonder in what other ways he has inappropriately misspoke and misrepresented his ward. Additionally, his comments have not been factual, however self-serving! In the spur of the moment or knee jerk decision making is an ineffective way to lead a community. I believe that to be very dangerous and selfish, especially in a ward where the community wants to be involved.
I found the councilman’s letter to Arsenio quite disturbing and self-serving. I would have expected the councilman to better frame his words and take a proactive stance as to encourage the youth in his ward. I have to admit, I was shocked and somewhat embarrassed reading such a letter from a man of influence; a “supposed” role model to the youth in the community, one who should be able to structure sentences and communicate effectively.
During an age of constant pursued education, the councilman has not furthered his. Now don’t get me wrong, I am not speaking ill of those who have not earned their college education, because I have not either, however, I am also not in the forefront of my community, serving as a role model to youth, negotiating with high profile and influential people on behalf of my community. This is scary!! Does anybody hear me? He has had an opportunity to serve as an example to the youth and make considerable changes to a community, and has not yet done so. How many more chances should we give him? I have to ask, “Is he worth it or are we?”
Let's Move On
Let's just move on. Politician's like Polensek have to go. We need new leadership.
A Fresh Start
I think Candidate Thompson will bring new and innovative ideas to Ward 11. Often times communities stop visiting the poles because they've lost faith in their leader and quite frankly they've lost hope. I hope that Councilman Polensek has carried out his term to the best of his ability with passion and concern. However, it is time for a fresh start. Please support Curtis Thompson II in his drive to take office, support the community and to bring a new hope to the area!

Curtis - and all others - please read my comment on the above referenced article.
And Curtis - my question to you is this:
Are you the leader that I am talking about in my comments?
With much respect,
FZR
That's Crazy
Polensek been in office all those years and doesn't complete his research, then wants to speak on what he doesn't know. That's foolish. I used to believe some of the stuff he said but over the I started wondering the same thing. He always talks tough but nothing happens. He's like a poodle loud but wont harm a fly.
Curtis has my vote.
